How does my FirstCall System work - is it always on?
Yes, your system is always functioning; it has a backup battery which enables the system to function even when your vehicle is turned off. It is always transmitting its position to FirstCall so if your vehicle is stolen, we will know where it is. For extended periods of time longer than three days, the system will hibernate until the vehicle is turned back on so not to completely deplete the backup battery.
